I'm a Senior Occupational Therapist and the founder of Whale Shark Therapy Services.
I believe therapy works best when people feel heard, understood and genuinely supported. That's why I take the time to get to know each person - their strengths, interests, challenges and goals - before developing a therapy plan together.
My approach is collaborative, practical and neurodiversity-affirming. Rather than focusing on changing who someone is, I work alongside individuals and families to build skills, confidence and participation in the activities that matter most to them.
Just like every whale shark has its own unique pattern, every person has their own strengths, experiences and goals. Therapy should reflect that. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you build confidence, independence and participation in the activities that matter most.
Whether we're meeting in the clinic, at home, at school or via telehealth, my goal is always the same: to help people participate more fully in everyday life.
Occupational Therapy isn't just for one age group or diagnosis.
I support people across the lifespan, including:
If you're unsure whether Occupational Therapy is right for you or your family, I'm always happy to have a conversation.
Occupational Therapy is about helping people participate in the activities that are important to them.
Depending on your goals, support may include:
Every therapy plan is individualised because no two people are the same.
Finding the right Occupational Therapist is about more than qualifications. It's about finding someone who listens, understands your goals and works alongside you to achieve what matters most.
Families often tell me they appreciate that therapy feels supportive, collaborative and personalised. My approach is:
🌊 Neurodiversity-affirming – recognising and respecting each person's unique strengths, needs and way of experiencing the world.
🤝 Relationship-focused – taking the time to build genuine connections and work collaboratively with individuals, families and other members of the support team.
🧠 Evidence-informed – combining current research, clinical experience and your lived experience to guide therapy.
💙 Individualised – tailoring therapy to each person's goals, strengths and everyday life, because no two people are the same.
🏡 Flexible – offering clinic appointments in Doubleview, mobile home and school visits across Perth, and telehealth appointments Australia-wide.
🎯 Meaningful – focusing on practical strategies that support participation, confidence and independence in everyday activities.
I believe the best outcomes happen when therapy is built around the person, not the diagnosis.
Whether you're looking for support for yourself, your child or someone you care for, I'd love to hear from you.
